Happy Feet For Summer

Yoga sandalsImage via Wikipedia

In shoes and fashion, happy feet are a girls best friend. Flip-flops are a flat, backless, sandal consisting of a flat sole held loosely on the foot by a Y-shaped strap, like a thin thong, that passes between the first (big) and second toes and around either side of the foot.

Flip-flops are also known as slip-slops in South Africa, Hawaii Chappals in India, thongs’ in Australia, jandals in New Zealand and the South Pacific, slippers, pluggers, go-aheads or chancletas

They appear to have been developed based on traditional Japanese woven or wooden soled sandals.

In our times Flip flops are very usefull for beach, for comfortable walk and in hot weather.

They've been buffed, trimmed and polished, and your pedicure-perfect feet are ready for summer. Even with the economy in a slump, you can slip into a pair of fashionable sandals without remorse.

Here are a few of our favorites.
